About a week ago, I got an email from an old friend.

We hadn't been in touch for a couple of years

We exchanged phone numbers and we spoke(talked) on the phone a couple of times and we've been texting quite frequently.
- 서로 전화번호를 주고 받고 통화도 몇 번 했구 문자로 꽤 자주 연락하고 있어

get an email from 한테 이메일이 오다
get a call from 한테 전화가 오다
get a text from 한테 문자가 오다
"We haven't been in touch for a couple of years" 몇 년째 연락을 안하고 있어 :아직도 안함
"We hadn't been in touch for a couple of years" 몇 년째 연락을 안하고 있었어
