영어회화 day 17 - 내가 아는 사람들은 다..

In korea. not many people use Telegram.

한국에는 텔레그램을 쓰는 사람이 많지 않아요

 

I'm sure some people do, but everyone I know uses Kakao Talk.

물론 쓰는 사람도 있겠죠 하지만 제가 아는 사람들은 다 카카오톡을 써요

 

I guess some of them might use both, but I don't know anybody who uses only Telegram.

그 중에는 둘 다 사용하는 사람도 있겠지만 제가 아는 사람 중에 텔레그램만 쓰는 사람은 없어요.

The other day, I was working on my essay at a Starbucks near my place.
며칠 전에 집 근처에 있는 스타벅스에서 에세이를 쓰고 있었거든?

And there was this guy who like accidentally dropped his wallet near me.
근데 어떤 남자가 있었는데 '실수로' 내 자리 근처에 지갑을 떨어뜨렸더라고

He came over to pick it up and we started talking.
그 사람이 그거 주우려고 내 쪽으로 왔었는데 같이 얘기를 좀 하게 됐어.

It turned out that we go to the same college and we are in the same grade.
우리가 같은 학교 다니고 같은 학년이었지 뭐야. 

Then he asked like if I was seeing anyone.
그 다음에 그 사람이 나한테 누구 만나는 사람 있냐고 물어보더라고

I said no and he was like “Can I get your number then?”
없다고 했더니 그 사람이 "그럼 핸드폰 번호 좀 알 수 있을까요?" 막 이러는 거야.

Well he seemed like a nice guy and he also looked cute.
뭐.. 사람도 괜찮아 보였고 잘생겼었거든

So I let him have my number.
그래서 내 핸드폰 번호 줬어

And yesterday he texted me and sort of asked me out on a date.
그리고 어제 카톡 왔는데 약간 데이트 신청 비스끄무리한거 했거든 

So this weekend we’re going to have dinner together.
그래서 이번 주말에 저녁 같이 먹기로 했어
